From a historical perspective, the Valkyries are first described in the Icelandic Sagas written between 975 and 1100A.D.. Then Richard Wagner catapulted them to immortality by writing them into his Ring Trilogy. The Valkyries are numerous, and have many names. From the original 12 in the Norse poem, The Darradarjlod (Woof of War), the numbers have increased over time, but the most famous of which is Brunhilde. Hey, here is the drill, make your picks and good luck. Thanks. Bye.
